I haven't used the Jag apps on my phone yet, but confused on the difference between Jaguar Remote and Jaguar InControl Remote apps. What's the difference? Do they use the same account? I think I registered for an account for both and also on the InControl website... So very confused.

 

There's a V1 (my preference although a bit out of date now) and V2 of Jaguar Remote, which is used to access the car to remote start, check journeys, see if the car is locked, etc. Then there are Jaguar Apps, which is a bunch of not very useful (IMO) apps like Stitcher, cityseeker, contacts, calendar. I've never used them, but I do use the Remote app a lot to warm the car up before I get in it, and to check my journeys. InControl also gives you, by subscription, access to Jaguar Assistance and the vehicle tracker. Only one account needed for both.
