“App currently not available in your country” Maybe if the Raptors take the series we can make a case for it.

 

How is this any different than the current Jag Remote? I see no additional features.

 

I agree, it just looks different. Hard to see the reason for the change.

 

What they need to do. . is update Jaguar Apps and add Waze to it

I doubt that there is anyway that waze will make their app compatible with Bosch myspin. Then JLR would have to enable it. One can only hope.

 

Never going to happen since the new models support CarPlay and Android Auto.

 

Ahh the days I wasted with JustDrive. Getting it working with my 2016 with the dealer having to flash a bunch of modules they didn't know about. Then it stopped working when Tmobile changed their IP gateway to require IPV6 only which the app didn't understand so always thought the Internet was down...

Then on the verge of announcing a fix/update they canned the whole thing.

 

Just a heads up if anyone wants the new remote app but lives in the USA, if you change the region of your iOS App Store to UK, download the new remote app, and then change it back to USA you’ll be able to use the new remote app without any problems.

 

I’ll give it a try. If no good I can revert back to the U.S. version.

 

yea, I can post the pics if you need it, it’ll ask to use a UK address so this is what I did

 

Unfortunately, it didn’t work. When I set UK region, and attempted to access the app with the link above, it said that my account was not valid to access the app under the UK region and advised me to switch my identity to the US region.



It appears that I require a Payment method that is excepted in the UK. Oh, well.

 

ah dang, I just set it to none for payment method, that’s weird how it won’t allow it, well hopefully they’ll push it to USA not that it’s a big part of the cars experience or anything lol

 

Agreed. I was just curious. I was hoping they would enable remote engine starting on the MTs. The car knows whether it’s in neutral.

 

Was hoping they would add seat heating control. What's the point in remote starting if you land your *** onto a frozen seat and there's literally no way to keep it heated after the last ride.

 

The remote start allows you to set a cabin temperature (default 22C) so the seats shouldn't be frozen when you jump in, assuming you've given it a bit of time to warm up.

 

Also available on Android store (UK at least) but gives me an error every time I try to login...
