Is it possible to update the Radio / Infotainment system from my 2014 F-Type with a unit from a newer model year? (I have the Meridian Surround +12 speaker system)
Not hoping for much, except to receive some of the extended SiriusXM stations (in the 300+ range, my wife's favorite station is up there), and as a bonus would hope to get Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
Given the way that things are engineered, I'm fairly sure the answer is "no", but would be interested if anyone has any success or failure stories.

 

just search for the carplay retrofit thread. either UAD or joyeauto piggyback unit will give you wireless carplay. Fantastic result and brings you up to date with functionality.(except track skipping form the steering wheel,but you can use the touch screen or voice to skip anyways).
