Welcome to the group Mark from a fellow 2015 R in IRR owner!

Touch wood, fault/issue free from new, and everyone comments on the stunning colour.

Stunning car and I love the IRR, not sure if it is a OEM color option now, correct me if im wrong but i think it is replaced by Caldera Red, Hayabusa I like the Ultra Blue as well. When i bought my 2.0 it was a decision between Ultra Blue and Caldera Red, went for the red.

No, Caldera is a replacement for Salsa, both non-metallic, from a few years ago.

I remember reading that somewhere now that you say it DJS, had forgotten about the Salsa color. Caldrea is non-metallic, looks good for a non metallic color. Had the car ceramic coated and always apply Gyeon cure after washing which with the coating and cure it leaves the car with a nice shiny finish, and so easy to wash.

IRR has been renamed Firenza Red but it's still exactly the same paint as before.

Italian Racing Red has been renamed to Firenza but that also now comes with an additional upgrade/premium charge (either $1,500 or $4K I think)

I'm trying to figure out how to fit a couch in my garage so I can sit and stare at the damn thing.

Why do you need a couch? You’re already on a barroom floor, somewhere in Texas. Now you can be on a garage floor, somewhere in Texas.

IRR is no longer as special as it was when it was xirallic. The new formulation is just a bit less special in varying light. Shame.
