Question Jack Stands

Curious what jack stands would you use to hold the F-Type up , 3 or 6 Ton stands?

I have both. The 3 ton ones should be fine but out of an abundance of caution(read, paranoia) I tend to grab the 6s.

Which quickjack did you get? I got the BL-5000SLX and it seems almost too short.

Yeah, the SLX is a little short for our spread. The BL-5000EXT is 6" longer and is better suited. Plus I need it for the wife's F Pace. They are coming out with new taller models in a couple months. The 5000TLX will give an additional 3 1/4" lift from the same 3" lowered height. Will be pulling the trigger on that one.

Just to mention it, I have the Quickjack BL-7000SLX and for anyone wondering it does fit and work to lift an F-Type. I wouldn't recommend going this big but if you already have it or I suppose have need to lift a bigger vehicle in addition to your F-Type; it will work.
