Default Jaguar F-Type SVR Transformed Into 700-HP ‘Race Cat’

Arden Auto Tuning is a German tuning company that specializes in releasing the inner animal from your Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley or even Mini. Its latest project is the Arden Jaguar F-Type AJ 23 SVR. While it may have a rather long and unromantic name, we are inclined to forgive it this one small failing seeing as it is a 703 horsepower missile that can hit 62 mph in 3.0-seconds dead.

To achieve this Ferrari-rivalling level of performance the team at Arden has done a whole lot more than just crank up the boost on the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 and hope for the best. The AJ 23 SVR, nicknamed the 'Race Cat', has been subject to an extensive list of modifications, starting with what's under the hood.

Out go the standard pistons for a new set of forged units, while an enhanced supercharger, modified carbon fiber intake system and a new high-performance exhaust system are bolted on too. The ECU is then reprogrammed to ensure that everything works in harmony and the end result is a serious 703 hp which is accompanied by an even more serious 644 lb-ft of torque.

21-inch Arden Sportline GT Monobloc forged wheels replace the originals and a sport lowering kit drops the car approximately one inch closer to the ground, helping to increase grip and cornering performance. Arden claims that the rear diffuser and flaps on both the modified front spoiler and side skirts help increase downforce, while an in-house developed front-grille replaces the factory versions and incorporates an illuminated logo.

It's not all about pulverizing performance either, the interior receives the Arden treatment as well. Two-tone leather seats, handcrafted inlay carpets and an aluminum pedal set add some style to the cockpit and give it an even more bespoke feel.

Most of these components can be individually ordered too, including differing wheel designs, and there are various performance upgrades in-between the standard car’s 567 hp figure and this mental 703 hp offering.

I'm very pleased to see Arden resisted the desire to mount a leaper on the bonnet as they have with some of their other modified Jaguars.

This may be a much better option from both a cost and a performance stand-point...
Quoted from the comments section.
" Full suspension upgrade, transmission upgrade to 900Nm, engine pull, bore to 3.4L , deck honed, heads rework, new engine internals with titanium rods, water/meth injection on larger supercharger, new headers, new midpipes, new rear exhaust, new custom ultralight forged wheels covers most of the upgrade package. "

Totally different cars for different purposes. The car in the video is Venegance 1, one of my personal cars. It's primarily engineered and setup for racing. The cost is rather hefty. The V8 version codenamed Incubus 700 (Based on the F-Type R AWD) has just completed endurance testing and the parts will move into production, it's a fun 700Hp beast. Arden does some fantastic work on JLR products.

the body kit on that is absolute horrendous. you can get the V8 to 600+hp with bolt ons.

0-100mph?
0-180mph?

Pretty easy to manipulate dyno numbers. Before and after performance numbers are needed.

I have a 2015 Coupe R that I'd like to track some more during next year. I'll try my hands at some Time Attack racing amongst other things.

Right now my car is 100 % stock though. As you seem to have done some serious modifications to your cars, what do you figure are the most important things to change to make the Coupe R more trackable?

My own feeling is that the suspension is too soft. Could that be a good place to start? If so, any tips?

Thanks!

Focus on:
- Weight saving (wheels at a minimum)
- Suspension (anti-roll bars, springs, shocks)
- Power (tune... and perhaps pulley)
- Tires (Falken FK510)

I will make this a separate thread, please feel free to post any answers there if you have time.
