Default Jaguar Racing Jacket

During my 4 month wait for the car (ETA 12/17 or later), I have spent my time purchasing accessories. I ordered this jacket on eBay and thought others might be interested. Although the jacket comes from Thailand and there is a 4 week wait for delivery (it will still be here before the car) I really like how it looks and the seller, Chokdee25, is very accommodating and has a 100% positive feedback.

If he does not have a jacket already made to fit he will make to your measurements and you can choose the color embroidery. I chose red embroidery to match my car rather the yellow pictured. The seller has sent me 6 emails since my purchase to make sure the size and color are correct. The price is right also - $70 plus $20 shipping to USA.

Nice looking jacket, however do you know that Jaguar racing was a failed Formula 1 team from 2000-2004 mismanaged by 'the rat' Nikki Lauda, funded by Ford and the car used a Ford Cosworth 3L V10 engine. It had nothing to do with Jaguar (Coventry,UK). Jaguar refused to advertise Ford or get involved and it was dissolved in 2004 having never won a race.

If you can find a jacket from the 1988 XJR-9 winning team I'd be interested!

I probably should care about what you stated but I don't and 99% of the people who see the jacket will not be aware of the above. I purchased the jacket because I liked it and have not seen similar jackets that I like or that would be made to fit me.

Hilarious!..."I probably should care but I don't".

I can imagine alexg, lost in a snowstorm, in a conundrum as to whether or not to survive by dawning the jacket or to simply just freeze to death as a matter of principle.

Lovemonet's post is over a year and half old, and she hasn't been on the forum for quite some time. You could try sending a PM.

You may just try the eBay search referenced in original thread.

Me too as I was at that 1988 race - as well as years before and after (friends with the Director's daughter didn't hurt) - and bought a beautiful Jaguar Racing jacket which I simply can't find.
