OK, contacted sales person re build date and he had no additional information other than build in November and delivery in December. I then called the sales manager and told her how disappointed I have been with the entire communication process. That of all the new cars I have ordered in the past this has been my worst experience. She then immediately informed me that my build date is 11/7 with an estimated delivery date of 12/17 and she would contact me as soon as she had the VIN.

So it appears to have been the sales person that was the issue and the dealer had the information.

My month would be better if JLR would send me my F-Type Coupe already!! 😤
I've been waiting since June. I had to wait from June 6th until July 7 for the dealers allocation to come through so it could be ordered. Now JLR seems to think Im enjoying the wait so they are gonna stretch it out further.

it's the red seat belts that's holding up your build

Have they provided you a new ETA?

Well, my car hit the port in Georgia (US) on 10/4 and was released on 10/6, but hasn't made it to my dealer in Dallas yet. I figured for sure it would get here in a week, and possibly in 2 days.. Still waiting, though. Anyone else have timeframes for how long it took to get from the dock to the dealer?

Thanks,

Frank

That feels like a very tight shipping timeframe compared with what I am used to from BMW (they offer 6-8 weeks from end of production, and typically deliver in 4-6 weeks). However I guess this is shipping from Southampton instead of Bremerhaven which saves 2 stops. Also are you living further north?

Build takes 1 week I think. Mine is quoting current planned build of 11/5 and build complete of 11/13.

My track & trace now shows customs release at Port Hueneme yesterday, it previously said the ship was to arrive there tomorrow so maybe it arrived a bit earlier...it hasn't left the port thought, scheduled to be in Tacoma,WA on the 19th.

Wish I could get the track and trace app to give me some result other than "No Records Found".

I received my VIN on 10/1 and have tried every day since with no luck...

Same here. I wonder how long it takes before the records are input? My car was supposedly at the docks on 10/6.

Let me make your day...go here:
https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage

Input your VIN in the FAR right box (IN CAPS) and click track, this should pull up your car...unless, perhaps the VIN is wrong.

Once you get on that page, click on "Voyage Number"...which is the only thing on the page in red...and that will tell you where the ship is headed to and where it's been.

I get the same thing, no record found. My VIN checks out as a valid VIN.

No, I am in Florida. FStark mentioned his car just came in through a port in Georgia so I hope mine will do the same as that would be close by.

I already did that and my VIN did not work for Buick.
I am 126 cars behind his VIN, so maybe they've not loaded the boat yet.

I do know they ship twice a month, so possibly we are on the next boat.
Buick, do you recall the first date you got a result from the Track and Trace app?

I want to say it was around the first of this month...

No update on my car this morning but the ship is scheduled to leave the port today...

Dang. Looks like the expected delivery date for my car to get to the dealership until 10/24. So, about 20 days from release from customs to getting from Georgia to Dallas. Not sure if that is typical, but that's what I just got back from my dealer!
