Default Just installed MPS 4S on my AWD R

Coming from P Zeros, these things should be illegal. The amount of grip is insane compared to anything I ever had with the Zeros and I’m just 50 miles into the 500 mile break-in period (to ensure all residual oil from molding is gone). With TracDSC on and in sport, I tried to get the rear to slip around turns but she just kept pushing even with pedal to the metal immediately out of the apex.

For you east coast guys, I used Tread Connection for the install since I didn’t want my car or myself at the dealer or a shop with what’s been going on. They came to my place and did an awesome job - highly recommend.

Yep, I got new F-type twice - when I purchased it first, then when I installed MP4S tires.

Keep in mind, with P Zeros car always slipped, so you don't normally experience sudden loss of traction, as there is never any. With MP4S when you lose traction, it is rather sudden, usually rear starts sliding - it is important to not lift (rapid release of accelerator pedal) as this will make things more dangerous.

If you find yourself in an unexpected drift, steer into it while gradually releasing throttle. Traction will come back and you will be able to resume your controlled driving.

Thanks, SinF. Appreciate the advice. Any other quirks with the 4Ss?

I put the 4s tires on at the end of the season last year and then put the kitty away for a winter nap. Now she is out of the cage and the car feels so damn good. This week while at the dealer I had them do an alignment and boy was my car a hot mess, toe, camber all over the place and even the fronts pointing towards each other. Now the car feels even more amazing and at speeds into the hundred plus one finger keeps the car straight. I have not had i moment yet that I felt like the car was unstable, sliding or not planted to the pavement. The P-Zeros the car...it was all over the place

Must be driving style. I actually found the opposite. For me the PZeros would suddenly snap loose with little provocation. The PS4S, on the other hand, provides me with plenty of notice of an approaching traction loss (at much higher g forces) with a loss of steering crispness. This enables for me a controlled 4 wheel drift near the limit of traction.

Switched over to the PS4S recently! I had P-Zeros all around from when I purchased the vehicle, but the rears were worn and the front passenger had a bubble..

Having the PS4S on for a little while now I can say I've noticed a quieter ride as well more grip. Not an overly substantial sound difference, but something I noticed immediately.

Could be that since the old ones were worn they were a little louder than any new set would be, but either way I've enjoyed the PS4S significantly more - I guess that bubble turned out to be a good thing!

I have some buddies that SWEAR by the P-Zeros "bEcaUse tHey go oN lamBos", but I'll stick with these for a while I think.

Most F-Type owners seem to swear AT them!

Keep in mind one thing, everyone change tires, feel a lot of difference because of the old tires is over! I think the same feelings would be for a tires change in the opposite direction (from PS4S to P-ZERO)

I thought the P Zeros were great for steering but not much chop for traction. Ride quality wasnt as good either (I have PSSes now).
