Hello, I just joined and Still just feeling my way around the site. I have a 2014 F-Type S Convertible that I love. Drives and sounds like no other car ever! So much fun! I was hoping to find info on how to replace the HID bulb in my headlight. I already purchased the new bulb and I'm trying to decide if I should just pay my shop to install it or if the job is easy enough to just do myself. Someone thought I would have to remove the entire headlight assembly in order to do this. If so, that is way more work than I'm interested in doing myself. Has anyone here done this that can give me an idea of how it's done? I usually just look on Youtube to learn how to do things, but I couldn't find anything this time. Thanks in advance.

There's a discussion on here somewhere on how to do it; I changed one a few years ago, the other is still going strong. Think it was the right (US passenger) side, the trick was to unbolt the electrical box that's in the way and move it as far as possible; then, you can get your hand in to replace the bulb. Not fun, but doable.

Driver's side for you should be LHS.
I changed both headlight globes on my MY2015 many years ago without removing the headlight assemblies from the car.
Is is doable this way but a PITA as there is very little room for your hands/fingers behind.
I have read that you can access the third headlight bolt and get the headlight assembly out by simply undoing the bolts across the top of the bumper (6 x 10 mm bolts) and pulling the bumper away a little. Dunno for sure if that works but I will try that way next time.
Anyway to get better access to the back of the LHS headlight with it still in place I moved the power steering fluid reservoir out of the way, just unbolt the clamp and move it.
