Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.

I mostly stick to the UK F-Type forum but saw a couple of similar issues on here and was hoping there might still be people around who found a solution.

My keyless entry started behaving a bit strangely a few months ago. The drivers side door would unlock fine, but when it came to locking it would just beep and the handle would pop back out.
Originally I thought this was an issue with one of the other doors or windows being open but checked and all fine. I then found that from the passenger side the car locked fine using keyless entry.

So the drivers door unlocks fine using keyless entry (so not a signal issue), and locks fine using the key fob (not a handle issue in my mind).
The passenger side unlocks and locks fine using keyless entry (so not an open door/trunk/hood issue) and the key fob.

It's currently with Jaguar who are trying to find the issue but they are struggling. And that's AFTER replacing the entire door handle assembly.

Anyone got any ideas? Any help is much appreciated.

Appreciate the response. I think they were having the same issue as me, but there is no resolution on the thread. It just says they were having the handle replaced in the future.

 

The fix was to replace an entry control module, Post #3 in my link, above.
