Leather headliner sagging.
Cwis - mine has no issues and we're in South Florida - 13 months and still fine. Do you want me to find out what glue our dude used?
MajorTom - I see this as nothing different than poor factory updates to poor quality parts. The OEM supplier (wherever located) uses a substandard adhesive. I'm confident Jag has never asked them to improve the design. it's just like the crappy yellow suspension bushing (struts) that turn to peanut butter. If you buy OEM replacements, they are no different.
There are certainly compatible glues plenty strong that will not fail over time. Jaguar just doesn't use them.
A real quality manufacturer monitors parts orders - if they are focused on quality they note a high volume of something that should be rare and fix it (Ford used to work that way). Of course, with high margins, reselling crap for profit helps the bottom line (poorly focused company IMHO).

Not sure about aftermarket.. you could take it to an upholstery shop but I was quoted too much for something simple. Mine sagged again a couple months later after re-gluing the leather headliner. The leather is just too heavy especially in Texas heat that melts the glue lol. I ended up getting a big uncut suede fabric for general headliners. Removed the leather, and used the backboard to re-glue and cut the suede fabric onto it. It's held up great and much longer than the leather one did since its lighter.
