You referring to my car? I got the tail lights tinted but left the headlights standard.

Yes, and ah okay it must be the lighting + the headlights w/ the black bezel. Wish I had those!

Hard to find UK owners here, where did you get it done and how much did it cost? Do you know how many metres they used?

Really? I feel attacked hahaha

I looooove my carpathian grey XE. It's almost black at night, it's kind of grey under lights, but when it's in the sun it goes an almost blue-green colour... when the paint is in good nick, it looks deep and dreamy <3 The rest of the car is blacked out... windows are tinted (not as dark as I'd like), black wheels, black pack. I'm testing PPF at the moment and it looks really good with matte over the top, but it looks better (to me) with gloss.

If you do wrap the car, keep a few things in mind:
- PPF generally outperforms vinyl in terms of life, protection, etc etc, and can be self-healing with heat
- Vinyl does scratch fairly easily when it's washed with a heavy hand, and a gritty cloth can leave massive marks
- Coloured PPF is available in limited colours.. I'm not sure why, but it seems like it's difficult to combine colours with the protective properties of PPF
- Dark vinyl will die much much more quickly than light vinyl, as it absorbs more heat when it's in the sun. I have cars wrapped that live in the sun and the vinyl always begins to visibly break down within 1-2 years
- If the car is garaged 90% of the time and driven 10 or 20,000km a year, vinyl should last almost forever
- Pay a little extra to have the door/boot/bonnet sills done, especially if you go to a light colour... this makes the difference between a cheap vinyl colour change and one that looks like paint
- You can put PPF over vinyl, a lot of people will wrap the car then put a PPF "front package" on (bonnet, front bar, quarter panels, mirrors) for stone chip protection
- You can ceramic coat over vinyl (and PPF)

Hope that helps
