First two years are the sledgehammer, the remaining years are tolerable.
Would definitely go with an S-Class Coupe. Something about Lexus has just never appealed to me.

I went to look at an LC500 when they first became available, and I was highly unimpressed with the interior. It had very odd pieces and finishes that I would have a hard time learning to love. i think Lexus styling throughout the whole line is just plain terrible, and it wouldn't be on my short list of replacements someday to my X150 XKR. Too ugly.

It was just a lot more solid and the interior seems of much higher quality than I was expecting. If I was making a 900 mile highway journey I would definitely prefer it to the F-Type, but the FT is much more raw car and I prefer something that is more 'sports car' than Gran Touring car. That will probably change when I get older and more frail. Nice nonetheless.

I've driven one and enjoyed it and a roadster is coming out. But much as I have tried I can't get past the grille.

A silver one negates how badly that styling mistake stands out.

You'll be hard pressed to find anything that isn't ugly compared to that XKR ...
