looking to beef up rear tires
I have bigger rims on mine but oversized tyres as well for looks and to protect the rims, pilot supersports is how we went and the ride and handling is fantastic. It is about to have ps4's put on which I think will have a slightly harder ride but improved handling, I also considered semi slicks really just for aesthetics (the Nankang and Toyo tyres look fantastic) but I understand the ride is quite hard and really I dont want it to be something where I have to work out how bumpy the road is before I choose what car to drive. But if your roads are nice and sooth, I'd consider semi slicks as the look magic from behind the car, I saw some of the Toyo's on a c63 and fell in love. Edit, apparently they arent much chop in the wet

I recently went with 305 / 30 ZR 20 Pilot Sport 4S on the rear of my F Type (and bumped the fronts to 265/35/20). I bought the tires from Tire Rack and they actually have several different versions of the PS4S in the 305/30/20 size. I chose the Porsche version since Tire Rack's data shows that version to have a 0.4" wider tread than other versions in the same size. So far, I am very happy with the performance and the appearance.
i sold my rims recently so i have some PS4S 265's and 305's for sale in 20" diameter with about 1000 miles on them. i'd like to keep them and just buy another ftype to use as a track car but i cant justify doing so, as i don't have enough time for such things to make doing so worth it =P oh well...
