Default Looking to trade my blade wheels

I'm looking to swap out the carbon fiber blade wheels on my 14' v8s for either colors of the 20' Gyrodyne Wheel.
I'm on the east coast, DC area.

Lizard -- just curious why? I haven't yet built my R but am debating those rims. Do you not like them as much as you thought you might?

I picked up the car on the lot so I didn't have much of a choice regarding which wheels to get. These carbon fiber wheels are beautiful but I'm just used to having light color wheels on my performance cars. Definately a personal preference.

If you find a taker, let us know how you handle the Tire Pressure Sensors....

Hi Lizard,

Trying to make a deal on a car out there with gyrodyne wheels. It's in northern VA. If it happens, I'm definitely interested

See no reason why they just can't be swapped over to the new wheels...

Thanks a bunch to mm767cap for making this trade possible. The Jaguar dealership did a great job swapping these out (even washed the wheels). Here are the before and after pictures.

Really looks good, I presume the car is Italian Racing Red.
My R coupe is Italian Racing Red and I ordered with the standard Gyrodyne wheels which I believe your new ones are. It came in with the grey Gyrodyne wheels at an option price around 1,100. dollars and I refused the car.
Dealer messed up the order and so offered to throw in the cost of wheels and wheel insurance and so forth.
After looking it over, I decided the 'look' was actually good so I went with it rather than wait for a new set of wheels. Your set up reminds me of what I originally ordered and it has a nice contrast with the chrome on the car.. the set up that I ended up with is good as well and it contrasts with the deeper tones of the car and the black hood vents.
So, after seeing yours, I wish I had both sets of wheels to alternate every month... anyway I'm too practical and cheap to actually do that.
Once again. ... very nice looking convertible.
Lawrence.

Nice. I much prefer silver wheels on either of the reds.

Mulmur, can you show us pictures of your wheels so we can see the difference?

Hopefully the upload worked.. Can't seem to capture the colour at all with my phone camera, but its close enough to show the wheel / contrast with the Italian Racing Red etc.

Looks GREAT my friend!!!! Love the way the silver sets off the red color. And I think the dark blades look fantastic on my white.... or at least I hope so. Still haven't seen my car =). Thanks so much for doing all the legwork and making everything go so easily!!

Those grey wheels were actually my first choice. Perhaps we should trade

The black wheels contrast the white really well on your car, especially when you can see the dark roof in there too.

At this point I really like them so I'll stick with them. Have had more than a couple of ladies tell me the colour combination is really sexy, so who am I to mess with it! Actually I do believe the silver wheels would be just as nice, just different.

One clear advantage of the darker interior within the wheel is that brake dust does not show up nearly as much as the silver.
Lawrence.
