Hello, i’ll appreciate the help, last week i took my 2017 to an autozone to change the battery and everything went just fine, but 2 days ago i noticed that the adjuster of the lights in the dash wasn’t working, i opened the battery compartment and i have a cable that is disconnected but i can’t find where it should be, i’ll include some pictures

 

I'm not sure what its for but when I changed my battery I noticed the same connection disconnected.

 

I recall Unhinged answering this in a previous post. It's not needed, but perhaps he'll chime in with the specifics.

 

Disconnected by dealer after delivery. Not used again. Think was used for tracker.

I tell interested parties that it is there to power the Ejector Seats.

 

I think it was used for transportation. As others have said, not needed afterwards.

 

thanks for the information! now i think i’m going to take the car to the dealership because i can’t find why the brightness adjuster isn’t working, the dash is stuck with the lowest light

 

I successfully used it for my missile launcher.

 

Can you get the knob to pop out?

 

I thought I had the same problem but it turned out (at least with my car) that the dash brightness knob wouldn't adjust the brightness unless the car was in the dark. Sounds weird but if its dark and I'm on the road it works. If it is light out the adjuster does nothing. Maybe day and night modes for dash lights?

 

yes i do but it doesn’t do anything when i move it

 

As suggested above, try twisting the knob when there’s no daylight.
