Default Lowering Springs Install Help

Hey guys, I recently took on the project to lower my F-Type V6S. I bought the Eibach kit and I have finished installing and will tackle the fronts next weekend. Two things I ran into was that the spring is not rotated against the spring perch stops. Also when I install the strut, I had to push down on the lower control arm with a decent amount of force (had to ask for other persons help while I push the bolt in) and push the strut inward. Did anyone else run into these problems if these are actually problems?

Yep, on the rears you need to push the control arm down with lots of force (most use a large pry bar and lever it down) to get the bolt in, this is normal.
Also a tip for the fronts - the strut and spring assembly won't come out (and the new won't go in) unless you undo and move out of the way one or two control arms / suspension components, again a pry bar comes in handy.
Disclaimer - I haven't done this myself but I have watched while a mechanic did it.

Great! Thanks for confirming. Did you guys have to preload the bushings and suspension by tightening the strut bolts when the cars on the ground?
