Maintenance charging F-Type batteries

This. By 2016 in all markets, the second battery had done away with by JLR in favor of a one battery system.

Ooo, that is interesting. Thank you eeeek. I am not surprised, fancy putting a battery in just for the stop/start system. I guess all will be revealed when it arrives, I can't wait.
I have gone to all this trouble because I wanted to get another maintenance charger like I use on my XK. Either that or I will use a solar panel. Perhaps I am best to leave it till the car arrives. But at least I understand the battery systems better. That can't be bad.
