I have not got to run on the highway since updating.
Not sure about the Pike, just looking forward to having nav synch with signs.

 

I tried to download the August 2021 map update on the InControl website. Every time I enter my VIN, and I have double checked that I wrote it down correctly, I get an error message that the website doesn't recognize the number and to try again later. This has been going on for a week. I called Jaguar Tech Support. They told me that I needed to register my VIN on the jaguar.here.com website which is different than the jaguar.com/incontrol website that has the Pivi Pro map updates.

OK, so I entered my VIN on the jaguar.here.com website but it won't stick even after it comes up and shows the year and color of my car and asks me to confirm. I tried entering it several times. Clicking on My Account/Manage My Vehicles says I have 0 vehicles registered. Well, if it won't let me register my vehicle, I guess that's why the InControl website doesn't recognize my VIN and won't let me download the map update.

This is frustrating.....

 

I know this is not what you want to hear at this point given what you have been through, but wait a day or two and try again. There is a 24 hour or so delay from the time you register until things get setup on the back-end so that it actually will work.
