Default Me and my car were Blessed today .

I thought id share my Saturday morning driving story . As I'm driving within my town, I come to a red traffic light. The road has two lanes on both sides. A mature gentleman pulled up to me on my right side, stopping for the red light. He was driving a new black color Cadillac escalade. I like the shape of the new model Escalade, so I turned my head to take a look at the ride. At this point, I noticed the mature gentleman looking at my car. He see's that my head is turned toward his car so he immediately rolls down his window, gesturing to me to roll down my window. As soon as u rolled down my passenger window he asked me what kind of car I was driving. So I told him. This was the interaction ;
(Me) hi .... ( the guy) hello... What is this car, who makes it ??? (Me) it's a Jaguar . ( the guy) if you don't mind, how much does this car cost. (Me). It's approx 115,000. ( the guy) it's stunning ! It's a beautiful car! Wow ... !!!
(Me) thank you so much for the compliment. ( the guy) GOD BLESS YOU, GOD BLESS YOU, GOD BLESS YOU. The traffic light turned green and I made my left turn and he continued straight. He was GA GA over the car.
What a nice guy ! He was approx 65 years old but he looked like he is in good physical shape. Yea ... So my car was blessed. Nice!

That's a very odd reaction.

I was enjoying the story until I got to this part.

I'm 67 next month and still managed to jack up my XK yesterday to remove and clean all the wheels without the aid of a nurse or a zimmer frame.

yeah, as a sexagenarian (my wife's a sexygenarian), I'm more active and in better shape than the millenials in my office (except their thumbs are better developed).

I crack up on many of your posts. Rodney Dangerfield type Iines.
Guys, please do not misunderstand me about me guessing his age. He was such a cool guy. Just that, his reaction to the car knda threw me off because of his high enthusiasm toward the car. I wish all people could be as nice as this positive guy.
Thanks

No misunderstanding taken. I just can't let a good straight line go unexploited.There are others similarly inclined on this forum (Dave & Marko, you know who I'm talking about).

I guess I'm a mature guy also. In proposals we refer to ourselves as "seasoned."

I think I'll replace the driver's seat with a lifting chair, for my declining years. The car is hard enough to get out of as it is. Though I guess I can put the top down and add some lifting rings in the garage...
