metal clips?

Default metal clips?

Hi all, found this in the glovebox of my new V8S convertible today:
two clips of thin metal, 1 inch wide.
No clue what they are for, anyone here thats knows??

Jeez, 137 views and no reply?
I don't have a 'vert and don't know a helluva lot about 'vert bits and pieces but my guess is some sort of shims or washers for the windbreak that fits between the roll hoops, to make it fit tight and rattle-free.

could be spacer plates to adjust hood or doors

Pretty sure they are body panel adjustment shims like f-driver suggested. Google them and you will see parts that look just like them or are very similar.

I know this is a REALLY late response, but they look a lot like control arm shims (maybe for the non-adjustable rear?).

And - there's no guaranty that they're actually from JLR. That said, you might try taking them to a Jag show and showing them to the mechanics, they'd likely know if anyone does.

Shims. They are shims used by garages when front alignment is done. I have a bag full of those. They come in different thicknesses, like 1/16", 1/32", etc.
