I just installed a kinda gallery intake on my f type. Shortly after install the check engine light came on and I can’t hear much supercharger wine. The light codes were for the mass air flow sensor and another one for sensor 1 for air flow. I’m having trouble pin pointing what to fix exactly. I’m not sure if it’s an air leaks somewhere because I only had the lower intake and it was a really tight fit. I tried to fix it and stripped two lug nuts in half trying to get to the wheel well. This is a mess and I’m wondering if someone can help me pin point how to solve the issue.

 

Sal's Garage did a pretty good walkthrough a while back (he used to post on here but I think he sold his F Type).

Maybe you can spot a step that you missed, etc



Given the issues you described you may want to pay special attention to 3:00 - 4:30.

 

Check the plugs on your maf sensors
sounds like a air leak after the maf

 

You won’t hear any whine with just the lower kit
check out the viezu cold air intake it’s far better than the mina

I have the Mina lower kit by itself with the stock upper pipes, and it makes heaps of SC whine.
Coz the thing stopping the whine is the baffles in the lower pipes, get rid of them (such as by fitting the Mina lower kit) and hey presto plenty of SC whine.
