Default mirrortap cable length

I have a Uniden R3 and would like to get a mirrortap cable for a cleaner look. Anyone else here using one? What's the right length to order, 10" or 15"?

I considered the mirrortap cable but ended up doing it myself. It depends on where you plan on mounting, but I have mine stuck to the windshield just left of the mirror. There's plenty of room to tuck in extra cable, so I'd suggest erring on the longer side. There's enough room even that for my Valentine1 I have the extra unit tucked up there (BOB - Brown-Out Booster) to keep the voltage up when the eco-start system starts the engine.
