Default Missing "R" Etching on tailpipe

I recently purchased a 2021 F-Type R and noticed that one of the 4 tailpipes is missing the "R" etching. Second one over on passenger side. Though this is only a cosmetic issue, I'm very disappointed that this was missed at the factory. Hoping this isn't by design. Has anyone else noticed this?

that doesn't sound right, ya def a mistake on the production side, go to the dealer and show them, they should replace it no questions asked. not really surprised tho that they would miss something like that, it is jaguar afterall, total side note, how do you like the exhaust sound on the 2021, lot of people are unimpressed, and think its a lot more muted and tame compared to the pre FL

Thanks for the response. The exhaust note is of course one of the reasons why I chose an F-Type. Creating the pop-pop exhaust is not as easy, or as abundant as the pre-2021. A bit more controlled, but still the best sounding out there.

Definitely missed. I just checked one and they're all there.

Checked my 2021 this morning, I have the logo on all four tips. As for the exhaust notes, I by far prefer the 2021 R to my 2017 R. Specifically, no loud start-ups as after awhile I found that to be somewhat obnoxious. I can get plenty of growl on acceleration along with pops and crackles especially in dynamic. I appreciate that the exhaust notes on the new model are a bit more refined.

I ordered the Carbon Fiber pack and got chrome mirror caps. Now how THAT got through JLR's crack quality team I will never know - but they fixed it as soon as I pointed it out. So much for the Dealer inspectors as well...

I see your chrome mirror caps and raise you a 15MY side skirt on the right and a 16MY side skirt on the left. That little error made it through the plant, the port, 2 different jaguar dealerships including the purchase dealership who told me they thought the painted side skirts looked good and I shouldn't paint them black... They're not even remotely similar.

I'm submitting the "Missing R" etching on Jaguar Tailpipe to Wikipedia's compilation of entries for "First Order First World Problems."

I predict it will end up right up there next to ur neighbors complaining about Jesus the gardener's truck, parked in your Rancho Santa Fe driveway, being unwashed & unwaxed. Dented, too.

Don't worry OP, I'll make my entry anonymous. /s

While I would agree that the etched tail pipe is not a reason to set DEFCON 1; this isn’t a third world problem solving web forum. Also, unwashed and unwaxed is understandable as we all live busy lives, but the dent is inexcusable - call a wrecker!

I have a 2020 F-Type R and none of my 4 exhaust tips have a etched R.
