Mount for a large phone?

Hi, has anyone successfully used a mount for a large phone (in my case, Galaxy fold, about 14cm/6 inches wide when folded out). Doesnt need charging capability.

With lots of time taking it on and off I made my own out of a piece of flat metal to work with 1" ball mounts....
