Finally got my new Porterfield 4S brakes installed on my 2018 F type R. Felt real good on the drive home, about 20 miles. Washed the car all up, looking so pretty (HA!) and it's rained every day since. So the garage queen stays in the garage. Now I'm getting a spinal lumbar fusion on Monday (if you haven't experienced that one yet, pray you don't have to), so I think my pretty young thing will be in the garage for about a month before I can drive it. The driving part is a 2 week wait after surgery and getting in and out of the F type probably another 2 weeks, minimum. Anyway, I have the original brake pads (iron brakes) with about 1000 miles on them, if anybody wants them, PM me. Pay the shipping cost plus $100 for me to help cover the lumbar back fusion, estimated at $169,000. That's a real number, no BS, Google it. Being healthy is infinitely better than anything, whether your young or old.
