Need glove box lock
I have no idea why a luxury car such as a Jaguar would be manufactured without a glove box lock, but my F-type was. Does anyone know if there's some sort of aftermarket key adapter available? I don't like the idea of people possibly going through my glove box when it's being valeted or serviced. It would be great if it could be keyed to work off of the physical key that's inside the fob, but I know that's a long shot. BTW, I'm talking about the glove box that's in front of the passenger, not between the seats. Thanks in advance.
isn't amazing what you can find in the owner's manual? They should provide one with every car...oh, they do?
pardon the sarcasm (the lowest form of humour)...but seriously, a fair number of inquiries are caused by owners not reading the basic information that Jaguar provides.

I never even noticed the "valet" mode button before. I have valet mode for my S2000, but it simply limits the RPM's and provides a history. The thought of electronically locking the glove box button never even occurred to me. That's why I didn't bother to check the manual. I turned valet mode on and it locked most everything out. I'll check the manual to see how to customize valet mode.
