Guys & gals. I have a new to me 2016 F-Type- S that was in an accident. The ECM had to be replaced. I have a new to the car ECM and it holds (I think) the odometer reading for the entire car. If I change it out to the used one, does the "used" ECM mileage show up on the dash as THAT newly installed ECM mileage that was on the donor car? KTG--

 

Most likely, yes. Write down the odo reading before removing the old one, and if necessary, have a Jag dealer correct its replacement.

 

So, does Jag need to "flash" the car too to make the new (Used unit) ECM to work? (That's about $350)

 

Nope. Swap it over over, you're good.
