Need a quick response - lug nuts, Gyrodynes
My wheels were stolen off my car a few weeks ago, and I finally got replacement Gyrodynes in today. But, stupidly, I realized I never ordered lug nuts.
I've researched thoroughly, and I know I need mag/flat 12mm x 1.5" nuts, but I still don't quite understand if I need to go 19mm drive size (OEM size) or if I can go with 13/16" (much more common). Will 13/16" fit in terms of the socket wrench in the wheel holes?? I found Gorilla's 19mm Jag-specific nuts (73138J), but nobody carries them so it'll be another week or so of waiting.
Thanks!!

13/16" = 20.6 mm so 1.6 mm wider than OEM 19 mm.
Not a helluva lot and just under the very common 21 mm width.
I fitted 21 mm lug nuts on my Blade wheels and the socket (not a sleeved plastic one) fitted no problems so a 13/16" socket is odds on to work on your Gyrodynes.
Just don't use a 21 mm socket on 13/16" nuts as it will be a slightly loose fit and you risk rounding off the corners of the nuts.

Okay, was about to buy these but then looked at the pictures vs OEM and they seem very long. Specs are very similar though. Can anyone confirm that these will work? https://www.autozone.com/suspension-...7_339533_38092

Same as OEM - 19 mm - is preferable as it saves stuffing about with different sockets.
And per your first post you could have problems with a 21 mm socket fitting inside the wheel holes, especially if you want to use a plastic sleeved socket (like I do) to protect the wheel holes.
Yes, the shanks on that first listing (Dorman) look a bit too long.
Last but not least you want solid one piece nuts not the crappy two piece nuts like the OEM ones, hundreds of stories on the Pommy forums of the top piece of those nuts rusting and/or bulging and breaking off, making it very difficult to remove the nut.
It's hard to tell if the linked ones are one piece or two piece, the first (Dorman) look like one piece and the second (Knight) look like two piece but who knows.
You could always message/email the sellers and ask for shank length, hex size, one piece or two etc.
