Default Lug nut specifications?

All my 20 lug nuts need to be replaced on my 1987 XJ12.
I am looking for the specifications of CBC1262 (Alt. part numbers: CAC2567, CAC4547, CCC7028, CCC7028). No where can I find the specifications of thread pitch. Most everything else I can measure. I don't have tap & die set to figure out pitch.
I have found seller for the CBC1262, but would rather not pay 5-6 times more for the authentic OEM part if I don't have to. None of the sellers disclose the specs.

Robert, when you buy lug nuts for a specific car the thread pitch is standardized in the industry. I got new lug nuts for Nix and only ordered nuts for Jaguar Xj6. They fit just fine.

Or is that not what you're asking?

1/2-20 is correct. That's super common.

However, check before you buy any generics. The difficulty might be in the Jaguar alloy wheels...or more specifically, the holes in the wheels. I'm 99% sure the holes in the wheels (wheel the shank of the lugnut fits) are not a common diameter.

Others will chime in

Cheers

The biggest problem we had with generic lug nuts was the threaded bore wasn't concentric with the outer diameter of the nut and they weren't consistently off center.

This caused the alloy wheel to not bolt right up to the hub. I could get 4 nuts on but the 5th refused.

So husband bought 40 more and added to the 20 we already had I checked each and every one to find 20 of the most closely concentric. They all work on all wheels now with no more drama.

Sometimes cheaper isn't the best value for the money.
