New F-Type Owner (2016s) 2wd mode?
Hello, i thought i would introduce myself to the community and hopefully gain and eventually share some knowledge on the F-Type! I just bought a 2016 F-Type S for 32,000cdn.... which seemed too good to be true so i am assume some issues and the first so far.. 100km in is that the 2wd driving mode light random comes on and off? Has anyone come across this? it is at the shop right now and they are telling me old transfer case fluid have been known to trip the sensor and are performing a flush? Also said it isnt tracking right and might have issues with the steering rack but performing an alignment to see if that was the culprit?
I don't want to be taken down an expensive rabbit hole so any information or experience is much appreciated!
Thanks

At that price and with tracking issues I'd suspect collision damage, but at that price it's worth some investment. If you get it sorted without significant additional expense, you should have fun.
I don't have any insight into AWD issues as I don't have it, but on other vehicles I've seen reports of wheel sensors causing trouble. My previous car had a problem with the front wheel bearings shifting just enough that the ABS sensors stopped getting signal. It was only a mm. or so, but enough to cause an unreliable signal. If there was collision damage, perhaps the wiring to a front wheel sensor is loose or damaged.

What's a 2wd driving mode light? AFAIK, the drive fluctuates dynamically according to how you're driving with no driver indication as to what it's doing (apart from hopefully staying on the road!). More detail please!
The maintenance schedule for my MY18 says the transfer box fluid should be replaced every 4 years, locking rear diff oil every 4 years and front diff oil every 9 years. In the UK, it seems these items aren't always done by main dealers.
