I have only had the car a few days so as i find new issues i imagine i should start new posts titled with the issue, or is it preferred here to keep all things in one thread?
Anyway... here is problem (or not) #1.
With the engine running and in park with parking brake off there is a somewhat loud buzzing coming from around the rear driver side wheel.
Is this normal or do we need to investigate?

No. Quite normal.
Separate threads are more efficient to explore separate problems...but information about the year, and model of the F-Type are important to getting an informed response.

 

If you have a 2014 or 2015, then it’s the active exhaust vacuum pump - it’s behind the left rear wheel.

 

Thanks for saying "left" - we don't all drive from the same side, so it avoids confusion.

does it always buzz or only when the active exhaust is engaged?

 

It turns on and off when the valves are opening/closing, which they do a lot at idle. You can pull fuse F43, which leaves the pump unpowered and the valves always open. I installed a wireless relay so I use a key fob to switch between normal active exhaust and valves 100% open (I don’t have switchable active exhaust).

there is a TSB about a loud buzzing and the fix is included, i would consider mine loud enough to attract attention.
