What's up everyone? Just purchased my f type last week and by far the best car I have had. Can anyone recommend good U.S based websites / stores to buy parts for the car ? Also, as far as running what do you guys recommend brand wise? I have the v6 coupe. Any f types in the Miami, Florida area here ?

 

Congratulations and welcome to the jaguar and forum family. As far as parts it really depends on what you're looking for, but there are several vendors out there. You can check the forums for different topics and if unable to locate something we may be able to guide you. Don't forget to introduce yourself into the introduction forum and if you can update your signature with your car information in case you ask a question the folks on the forums know which car you have to provide you in the information you need. As for the Miami thing there are threads also based on geographic so might want to check that thread as well. Any questions let us know. Welcome!!

 

Awesome! thank you and I will update. Well the first thing I am looking to get is the design pack side skirts to my car. I have googled everywhere and could not find them. I guess it can only be done thru the dealer?

 

you're welcome. To my knowledge the dealer is the only one that has access to that. I have found other sites that had body kits, but all on the other side of the pond. I was originally looking at it, but after speaking to several folks I decided not. If you search the forums there was one member last month that was installing them on his car, you can reach out to him to see where he got them. I've attached the link below to that thread.

For side sills, Gaudin Jaguar Parts (online) will be your best bet.

Thank you all. I am definitely looking to go to a cars and coffee meet. What days do they have them? Also, a correction to my original post. I was asking about "tuning" advice, if anyone can recommend good brands. The auto correct put "running" instead.

 

well none with real documented results as of yet. Several 5.0 owners love the Velocity tune, but they're still working on the 3.0 tune. They're waiting on a XK 3.0 owner locally and Fin down in Florida recently came across a neighbor with a portable dyno to assist in the tunning so hopefully we will get one soon just in time for the summer driving.
