Introduction -
Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself. Bought a 2014 V8 S last week out of Charlotte, NC with 19,000 miles on it. If anyone on here knows the car, feel free to hit me up. It came with aftermarket rims, but I also have the stock wheels as well. Still deciding which one's I'll keep. My wife also has a 2017 F Pace S we bought a couple years ago. I've been reading through all of the threads to get familiar with the F Type as this is my first. Looking forward to all the discussions.

I'm 46, retired Army and recently moved to Jacksonville, FL. I still work with the Army and am out of the country quite a bit, so my miles will stay pretty low, but I plan on getting in as much driving as I can when home. Pictures of my Jag attached for your viewing pleasure. Also, I'm on the fence about the rims. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Firesand is a beautiful color, but I’m undecided on those wheels. Easy enough to swap the originals on one side to see how it looks. Lug nut torque is 92 ft-lb.

 

Very nice I'm a new owner as well. Not a big fan of the color but I imagine I'd like it a bit more if I lived in Florida. Enjoy.

I love your taste in cars. Not to sure about those wheels though. I also own a 2014 V8S since Aug 2013 and loving every minute of it.

welcome aboard. i love the firesand and absolutely would have gotten that color if i wasn't convinced it would be a magnet for johnny law. those wheels gotta go though...

 

The rims are okay, but should probably be painted a different colour.

 

I would never have considered Firesand for my F-Type, but with those wheels it’s fabulous. The decision has to be yours. As with any of the color combos, it’s personal preference specific.

 

I like the matching wheels, too. Inspired!

 

If I had to keep the wheels, I'd go black with the calipers.
But, as others have said, it's all about you and your likes and dislikes.

Love the wheels, hate the red calipers. Paint the calipers black with some Jaguar decals and the wheels will look great.

Congratulations on the gorgeous car! I'm a new owner as well, just purchased a 2017 V6 in British Racing Green less than a week ago, love it!
