Hi All,

Another new member here and new owner of a 2016 F-type R in Italian Racing Red. I was previously heavily involved in the turbo BMW scene and dabbled with Audi. This is my first supercharged car and so far I like the NA feel with the extra go.

Despite the weight, this is a great car so far, but I feel the need for some more speed (believe it or not) and some further interior refinement. This forum is pretty small compared to the BMW crowd unsurprisingly, but refreshingly so due to the lack of trolls and keyboard racers.

I'm looking forward to contributing what I can.

Chris

Thank you everyone for the greetings and kind words. I'm looking forward to being part of a productive forum.

Also, as was said, I'll enjoy looking left and right on the freeway without seeing 3 clones of my car!

Nice! You got your car at Jaguar Mission Viejo! Thats where I got mine. Sales and service staff there are excellent. I saw that car there a few times when doing store visits. Key people at that store you should get to know:

-David Elliot: Service Manager. Blunt and straight to the point
-Matt Van Ness: Service Advisor. Same as above
-Parts: Brian or Mark
-Jorge Ensico: Shop Foreman. Big guy; funny watching him getting into F Type to work on them but he knows what hes' doing

**REMINDER** THERE IS A BREAK IN PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gorgeous looking car! Welcome to the club.

I noticed the black Gyrodynes... nice touch! Did you have the dealer do them, or were they already on the car like that?

The wheels were refinished by the dealer.

Once again, thank you all for the kind words. I'm not used to the love after experiencing the BMW forums. It's kind of nice.

LOL . . . as a graduate of Audi, BMW, and Corvette Forums, this is a warm and fuzzy place by comparison. The only other forum that approximated the civility I see here was the Lotus Forum.
