Hi All,

Just switched from BMW to a new 2017 Jaguar F-Type R.

Looking forward to the new Jaguar forums community and seeing what everyone is doing to their rides.

Thanks,

Andy

I'm a new member too from San Antonio. I got my car last week from Barrett. I traded in an Audi R8. Very sad to see it go, but I wasn't driving it much at all. I plan on driving the F-type nearly every day! So far I'm happy with the car and the dealership was great as usual.

Congratulations on your car!

Paul

Welcome everyone, congratulations on your new rides. Post some photos and update your signature with car info if you haven't already. Vert or coupe is good to note, engine size, etc. It helps when responding to questions and comments. Saw DrPauls picture post in the photos thread. Nice red and wheels. What are the specs on the new wheels?

The wheel specs are:

Ferrada FR-2

Front: 20x9 E.T. 35
Rear: 20x10.5 E.T. 38

I'm using the factory tires.

now you'll need spacers ( 15 or 17mm) on the rears to push them out as far as the fronts were.

I was going to say the same thing. The rear 10.5 can take as low as a +18 offset with a 295.

And that's exactly what I was wanting to do. But, I don't want to be grinding down the stud bolts. So,,,,

1) what width should I go with so that I don't have to grind the bolts?
2) can you offer your opinion on which brand to buy and from who??

Thanks!

17mm wheel spacers from Lenny at Motorsport-Tech will get the job done

+1., but don't ever consider switching the 305 rear tires. And, it's adaptors, not spacers, you are looking for.
