With the Gyrodynes and other OEM wheels as well the recesses between the wheel bolt holes are not deep enough accept the OEM studs if using the 15mm adaptors (I am not talking about spacers). The 17mm adaptors push the wheel out from the hub far enough so that you don't have to trim 2mm off the ends of the studs. There are significant portions of a number of spacer/adaptor threads that cover this issue. As mentioned the Blades will fit without trimming the studs, but most of the other OEM wheel options will.

If you mean F-Type S vs F-Type R then there is no difference at all between the two, the hubs, lugs, wheels etc are identical (other than the S having 19" wheels as stock and the R having 20" wheels).
If you order from the linked website you need to separately specify via a message to the seller that you want the 15 mm ones.
Yes, the only difference between the 15 mm and 17 mm is the 17 mm will push the tire 2 mm further out, and it won't make any difference at all to how the wheel fits on the studs, as the spacer studs are (or should be) the exact same length.

1. 12 x 1.5mm (default)
2. 12.5 x 1.25mm
3. 14 x 1.5mm
4. 14 x 1.25mm
Do you know which bolt is the correct size?

M12 x 1.5
I am not aware of a 12.5 metric pitch bolt.
