Lenny made adaptors for Frank. You could use hub-centric spacers, but would need to install longer studs in the hubs.

What if I only used a 7mm -10 mm spacer --would I still need longer studs ? ---- thinking that when I get new tires I would go to 305's and that would give me another 5 mm ? Thanks for the help!!!!

by my calculation, 7 mm would be right at the limit. 10 mm is well over the edge.

Thanks 7mm might work with the mitchlin 305's --- everyone seems to say the run on the large size ? ---- will have to see if I have enough room on stud with 7 mm spacer because did a slight amount of grinding when I put on the 15 mm wheel adapter with the stock torranado wheels ? Thanks again for all the help !!!!

Shouldn't be an issue. You can grind quite a bit off the studs (~4mm) before you start cutting into useable thread.

Congratulations on your car!

Thanks Paul. You ever go to the coffee and Cars on the second Saturday of each month at Oak Hills Church across from the Rim on I10 West?

BTW, like your new wheels.

I'm glad you mentioned spacer. Because I would prefer the wheels to be more flush with the edge of the fender.

With that said, has anyone done this already? If so, what size spacers are you using on the front and rear? Lastly, any recommendations on brand and where to buy them?

Another San Antonio member checking in here....

Hope you enjoy the new ride!

BTW, I also came from a BMW. I traded my M4 for my R. Happy not to have to deal with BMW S.A. service anymore.

I have 15 mm hub centric spacers front and rear, on VAP lowering springs with Blade wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres 295/30ZR20 and 255/35ZR20, and it looks "perfect" to me. The top edges of the tyres/rims are pushed out about 1 mm less than flush with the tops of the wheels arches. The ride, feel, handling and look are all great, no rubbing or scraping at all, couldn't be happier.
The spacers are "Teeze" from AliExpress, waaay cheaper than most of the "brand name" spacers such as H&R and just as good in my opinion: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Alum...2-c19820e34402
Don't worry that the ad lists a bunch of Jags but not the F-Type, they fit perfectly on the F-Type which has the exact same PCD and centre bore as all other modern Jags. I find with almost all wheels, tyres and brake parts the virtually identical XF parts are a lot cheaper than the F-Type parts and that way I avoid the "F-Type tax".

+1. This will require just a bit of trimming off the ends of the studs, so 17mm might be an easier choice. In either case, you will need to stay with the stock size tires in the rear. Moving to a 305 width tire will result in tire rub with the 15-17mm spacers.

No trimming needed at all for me, maybe that's just the Blade wheels?

Yes, I was there last month with my Audi R8 spyder. That's the car I got rid of for the jaguar. That "show" is getting pretty big. A lot to look at!!

Thanks for the response. But, are you absolutely sure that the spacers for the Type-S will fit the Type-R? And which ones, from the website that you referenced, do I order? Also, what is unhinged talking about when he says that 17mm might be better than the 15mm? That doesn't make sense to me, as the 17mm will push the tire further out and how would that effect the stud fitment?

If you mean F-Type S vs F-Type R then there is no difference at all between the two, the hubs, lugs, wheels etc are identical (other than the S having 19" wheels as stock and the R having 20" wheels).
If you order from the linked website you need to separately specify via a message to the seller that you want the 15 mm ones.
Yes, the only difference between the 15 mm and 17 mm is the 17 mm will push the tire 2 mm further out, and it won't make any difference at all to how the wheel fits on the studs, as the spacer studs are (or should be) the exact same length.

With the Gyrodynes and other OEM wheels as well the recesses between the wheel bolt holes are not deep enough accept the OEM studs if using the 15mm adaptors (I am not talking about spacers). The 17mm adaptors push the wheel out from the hub far enough so that you don't have to trim 2mm off the ends of the studs. There are significant portions of a number of spacer/adaptor threads that cover this issue. As mentioned the Blades will fit without trimming the studs, but most of the other OEM wheel options won't.

Thanks for clearing that up Lance, I didn't realize that the Blades were such "outliers" regards the depth of the recesses between the bolt holes.
