If gauges and fingerprints are the only issues then the F-Type is a winner.

As someone coming from a bare-bones (only things power were door locks and windows, even the top was manual) to this, I'm enjoying playing with the new toys and convenience stuff. Honestly, the only things my husband has that I kind of wish we had was a HUD, but only because I enjoy tech toys. In reality, I got the car because I've always wanted one, love the looks, love the sound, and the only two things on my "must have" when I was looking were heated seats (because as a Georgia girl I'm a wimp when it drops below 50) and a backup camera. As I looked, I refined my list a bit and am very glad I ended up with all the options I got. Is all the tech perfect and up-to-date? Probably not since any kind of tech is usually outdated seconds after it is released. Is that what most of us buy these cars for? Doubtful. I personally don't need to see all the values like tire pressure, etc. because I'm too busy driving and listening to the sound of the car and I've always gone by feel anyway. If you really connect with your car while driving, sometimes you notice things before it becomes a real issue. I usually even drive barefoot and it's amazing what you can feel through the pedals if you pay attention. If I were buying a luxury sedan I'd probably care more about that kind of stuff. But that's just my opinion and pretty much worth nothing to anyone except me.

My '14 V6S is loaded except for cc brakes and upgraded wheels, don't feel like I'm missing anything. The only reason I feel the infotainment is lacking because of the MTC+ in our '17 Maser, one of the best! I had a first year '12 SLK55 AMG that i thought was fine until I drove the Jag, it was dated from day one compared to the F Type.
