I'm not sure how much 30% more flow will help. It sounds like it should, but if the fluid is moving too fast there isn't time for heat to transfer. I just don't know. Maybe in conjunction with a bigger radiator?

I checked out their website. They also have a pump with 50% more flow, so I'm wondering why they have a 30% more flow model as well? They also have a charge cooler, but offer no details on how it's better than OE? Basically whoever writes their product descriptions should be doing something else at the company. I'm surprised at their lack of detail, general information about their products.

Default It's a Bosch

This is not a Viezu/Paramount bespoke item, but simply a Bosch 010 generic water pump that has been fitted as an upgrade to several Jaguar models and already documented. Even at sale price, it's considerably more than the price you can obtain from other suppliers.

The value is in the pigtail, assuming it is plug and play. Had to rig it to make it work, and as a result the pump is always on if the ignition is on. May not be a big deal to most, and maybe there’s a way to wire it to avoid this issue, but I’d probably recommend the kit for simplicity. It’s not that much more expensive

Admittedly I purchased the Bosch pump ( BOSCH 0 392 022 010) on sale for £120 from PartsinMotion. Use code JAN10 to get £10 off current price. I've read about difficulties with connector on this pump, resulting in use of Mercedes connector, computer fan connector, etc. The Bosch pump uses a TE Connectivity standard automotive connector. Compatible female plug is TE 1-967644-1, which I purchased on Ebay for £4.95, although you do have to trim the 'lug' next to pin 1, otherwise perfect fit. If you keep a tail on the original connector when you remove it, you can always return to OEM in the future, although can't think why you would. So in my case total cost of upgrade was £125 and a few minutes of my time. Two wire connector functions exactly the same as OEM once fitted.
