I've ordered mine on michelin pilot super sports in the same sizes as FR50GT's and will take a punt on the ride quality. Luckily my seat is pretty soft and my **** is pretty hard.

To be honest, the ride feels identical to my previous set of 20’s.

Thanks! About 10 days apparently. I have to say my 19"s look like tractor tyres after looking at a heap of 20"s and 21"s.

Between that and getting the A - C pillars wrapped in black early next month, and the recent addition of the BMC air filter, the car is getting a lot of love at the moment.

Hi, here is a link to Bimmerpost where they seem to use these wheels a bit - the weight looks to be coming in around 22.4lb for 19"s, 21"s will obviously be a bit heavier, I'd guess about another 15% or so, so maybe 26lb. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1092326

Like it cracked across a quarter of the barrel and lost air. Here’s a picture of it welded back up again. I was able to get a replacement wheel with wheel insurance.

OEM 30 profile tires. Moderately sized pothole was in a blind corner on an Interstate on-ramp. Of course, I was on the throttle pretty good.

All I had to do was call the state department of transportation. Pothole was filled 24 hours later, but too late to do me any good.

In the Netherlands the owner of the road is negligent. I once busted a tire as a curbstone was pushed by a root out of line. Van coming from opposite direction did not
left me much space with my Landrover Discovery. No time to slow down enough to, as I was keeping my eyes on avoiding the van.. Tire was ripped open...
The council [ road owner ] had to pay for the damage..

Saw FR500GT's F-type today with the vorsteiners and the wheels look as good in person as they do in the pics!

Yep, it already has a black roof so just the A and C pillars per the other thread, it will be interesting to see how it pans out. I dont mind spending a bit on it at the moment as I usually tire of cars after 2 years and change over losing plenty in the process. I've had mine for just under 2 1/2 and no signs of interest flagging at all, in fact I think I like it more now than ever before.
