Default Noice while accelerating

I’ve had my 2015 F Type R for about 6 months now and noticed what sounds like a grinding sound under acceleration. The only way to describe it is: when pumping the gas pedal it almost sounds like a DJ with their disks for whatever they’re called. Not sure what the issue is, everything on the car is fine/sounds great. Doesn’t seem to be any power loss or transmission issues. I just had the diff fluid replaced a couple months ago. Car is RWD with about 37k miles on it.

I did see another forum that said motor mounts, but an audio recording was posted, while the noise showed up under acceleration, it wasn’t the same as I’m currently experiencing.

Sounds are difficult to 'detect' on a written Forum.

Is the noise the same if you hold the car in a lower or upper gear?

Cracked rubber motor mounts are a visual check. Might require a mirror on a stick, or a borescope to see.

Same noise in every gear, higher rev ranges it disappears. I only assume it disappears because the car becomes louder than the noise. Doesn’t appear on any downshifts, but does appear when the car is lunging.

Just to clarify, do you hear the scrubbing or scratching sound from the pedal with the engine OFF?

From Wikipedia:
Scratching, sometimes referred to as scrubbing, is a DJ and turntablist technique of moving a vinyl record back and forth on a turntable to produce percussive or rhythmic sounds. A crossfader on a DJ mixer may be used to fade between two records simultaneously.
Audio sample in this link. I sure that you do NOT hear the drums, tho'.

If so, something in the pedal linkage?

Seems more like scratching to me. I didn’t think to check the pedal while the engine is off, I’ll have to try this today.

Wouldn’t the easiest option be to post a video with the sound. No written description is ever going to suffice if you are trouble shooting.
