I had mine done in a different order.
1. Paint correction.
2. CeramicPro on the entire surface
3. xPel on the entire hood, front fenders, rocker panels and just in front of the rear wheel opening.
The coating will protect the paint from a lifetime of adhesive exposure from the film.

Really weird! Any professional who puts ceramic coating on or xpel will tell you the ceramic goes over the expel.
Not even sure how you got the expel to go over ceramic and stick ...Hmmm--- very odd!

My installer was a product developer for xPel. His point was that the ceramic was for protecting the paint from chemicals & UV and to resist abrasion. The film’s purpose is to protect from chipping. The film’s adhesive can permanently permeate the paint surface if not protected by the ceramic. My film has remained perfectly attached for close to five years and a number of 3 digit runs.

Huh. ..... Never heard of it done like that. My expel installer (high end exotic installer) who is amazing at what he does, Says the complete opposite. Ceramic has to be done after the expel. Very weird as I never heard of anyone putting the ceramic first. But hey as long as its staying in place for you without issue then cheers man!!
UPDATE (EDIT)****
****just text my EXPEL guy , were buddies. Here is his response -
"No, the Xpel will not stick to it. Just had an issue with a customer who did the same thing on an Audi. He didn't tell me he ceramic coated it and the film came off while he was driving it lol."
Car washes are horrible for the paint finish. Whomever owned mine before I got it took good care of it overall, but I can see some swirl marks at certain angles.

The swirls are 'factory original'.... When the guy who was supposed to do the 'ceramic coating' tolfd me he would have to polish the paint to get the best result, I realized he'd just reduce the thickness
of the paint and make it more vulnarable... So I decided to wait for five years since he standard includes touching-up chips so, I'd have a full paint restore then for one amount..
But since I only had a minor chip, and not significant more swirlls.. ..and the carwash is briljant..
F-Type is fuuuun on a track. Playful! Here we are at Laguna Seca. Not the fastest of the day (though I did clock some sub-2min laps). This car is more than just a looker!
