Or this! Photo “illustration” courtesy—a gift—from esteemed Forum member DJS. Parking—at Winslow Homer’s studio on Prouts Neck, Maine (on his lawn!)—courtesy of The Portland Museum of Art.

Since just about everything is shutting down for the next 2 months, figured I'd start learning how to use a new editing tool using an old photo...

Not everything is dire and gloom and doom—when is the last time our esteemed [former] Chief racing instructor colleague Mahjik posted a picture?—and while the world is “on hold”, life goes on. Serious though this is, there are many positive things which will come from this. I do not look at the world with rose-tinted glasses, merely a glass is half full kind of guy. That or full of something.

Posting the pictures which I and others have done (nice job Mahjik!) is a look back at many very positive and joyful experiences. Experiences which will be recreated again.

@Dan_NL haha no, its just the lighting and a filter on the pic that gave it that color. It's all white.

I wondered since the blue colour is an existing factory colour...

Last week at the supermarket (not buying TP). In person, in the sun, I like the brown (but not on my car.) Would be interesting to see an F-type in that color.

Nope. Not a good color for any car in my view.

Oh man, I had a '72 Triumph TR6 that was brown. Looked great and would probably still have it if it weren't for one small problem. I couldn't sit in it without the top of my head rubbing on convertible roof. I had more hair and the seats were not very adjustable back then.

Back in high school a friend had a hand-me-down Gremlin in metallic brown with stripes on the sides. I could never have a brown car without thinking of that classic. It wouldn't start one day, so he left it where it was (West Oakland BART parking lot) with the keys on the dash. It was still there two weeks later, so he gave it a try. It started, and kept running until he got a $200 "guaranteed trade in" on a Tercel, and the salesman was crying over it.
