Hey, Vic, I deduce you have flown back from Minnesooota! How's this for weather? I spoke to my Sister in Mnpls yesterday, she said it was snowing. I guess you came between snow events.

It's the Ammonite Metallic! ..I think that has been superseded by the Corris Grey for the newer models

And Ammonite superseded Lunar Grey (in 2016 I think), very similar just a shade darker.

New caliper decals with three layers of clear coat caliper paint for protection. Old ones were faded and hideous looking. I now have plenty of free time for my OCD projects.

The red calipers look brilliant with the white and especially those wheels. Excellent choice

Thanks, they were originally gray and I thought that white would make them pop a little more and keep with the red and white theme.

Nice wheels, just those center caps to align properly.

Too funny, I'll get right on that. A mini gyroscope in each center cap should do the trick!

I really like white air deflectors on your F-type. Are they stock - if not can you tell me the part numbers?

Growler chin pointing at the valve is the "correct" way.

Thanks scm, was not aware of that and thought you were just adding a little humor. Will be adjusted today, does the center cap pop out with a small screwdriver? F Type-Type, everything on my car is stock.

I think you'd risk damaging them if you don't pop them out from the back. And I was adding a little humour, although if you're as OCD as me you will want to align the caps "correctly". If you look at a "proper" dealership you should see the cars on display will not only have the caps aligned that way, but they'll usually have all the wheels with the valves at the bottom, too!

Our F has weighted, rotating center caps. They are always 'upright', even when driving (same as Rolls-Royce).

Not only that, they GLOW IN THE DARK when spinning. If only, we could harness that free power to keep the battery charged?!?!?

++++++++++++++

PS, on our cars with fixed caps, the legend/logo is upright, with the valve at the bottom. <--- Hope I did that correctly.
