The location is Alto Velefique on road AL-3102 between the towns of Bacares and Tabernas. If you are even remotely close it is well worth a visit.

It's quite possible I rode that back in 1998 on a motorcycle tour. I passed through that area. I think I have the maps but it was an Edelweiss tour, and they offer suggestions but the group I was with picked our own so I doubt I recorded it.

Had a lot of fun in the canyons this weekend. Found a Viper to play chase with. Too much traffic to see who was tops - probably for the better… Love this car!

On those roads, I don't think either would be tops, but that's not to say that neither would be hoot. I used to get over there more often, but haven't much in the F-Type. The narrow, tight roads don't let the F-Type shine quite as much as ones that are slightly more open. Still fun. Nice pictures too, showing off the BRG.

Thank you. Couldn’t pass up this 2015 when she came up.

I like the side heading up from Santa Cruz. A few big sweepers and quite smooth. But overall I agree. Certainly not tops but a hoot nonetheless. That’s what I love about these cars. They’re not the fastest, or the lightest, or the best handling, but I’m having a boat load of fun behind the wheel. Now maybe if the F-type lost about a thousand pounds… 🤔 🏎

I don't recall ever seeing a British Racing Green SVR. There must be an extremely limited number

Yep! BRG#5 was not offered on SVR's in 2018. It was a very special order that I made directly with the Covington SVO Group. There were only two BRG#5 SVR's made in the world that year. The other one is in Connecticut with different options. Mine also has a bespoke bright grille surround and bright window surround and a flat bottom steering wheel - none of which was offered on SVR's in 2018...

Michelin PS4S in 265/35-20 and 305/30-20. When they were stacked in front of the garage I thought "what was I thinking?" They're massive.

Wheels are BC Forged KL12, 20x9.5 +42 and 20x11 +32. From payment of the deposit to completion was an astonishingly fast 17 days.

How about that? I got new shoes and new sneakers too . The Michelins are a nice improvement, and the Sambas are much narrower than my usual "kicks", better on the pedals.

I've been using some of the driving shoes RickyJay52 recommended (www.grandprixoriginalsusa.com). I liked them enough that I got a second pair in a different color.

P.S. White shoes after Labor Day? Say it isn't so.
