I found that the coupe got ridiculously hot sitting in the sun and the rear parcel cover was fading so I contracted the folks that made the windshield shade I have (heatshieldstore.com). They're close enough that I could have taken a day off and driven down but they worked from measurements I made. I have no connection to them but am sharing this for those who might be interested. They were very easy to work with.

The made one for the top glass and one for the rear. They also did one for the rear glass of the removable hardtop on my NA/6 Miata that should help preserve the folded soft top underneath.

They're set up with suction cups but I didn't use them on the overhead. I tucked it into the shade in the rear and the headliner in front. The dangly thing is the velcro strap to roll it up. Summer is pretty much done but the temperature difference is significance.

On a recon mission yesterday for a private event I’m planning for next year. 70+ degrees in the Berkshires in Nov is nuts, but having the top down was awesome.

Warning triangle is due to TPMS errors (need new sensors after 9.5 years, presumably.) Dust is due to not cleaning recently.

What a coincidence that RickyJay52 happened to be there to take my picture.

This is on MA Rt 2, heading west towards North Adams. What a great drive - where the odometer rolled 80,000 was about the least picturesque spot. It would have been spectacular a few weeks ago, before the leaves fell, but then the roads would have been clogged.

The Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge…

…and, at the Rockwell, his 1929 painting “Speed Trap”, at which point in time, automobiles were becoming fast enough to be a seen as a menace. Not us, of course.

Fabulous takes....whets my pallet for an adventure eastward 2023. I can respect the fact that it is "booked" but truly enjoy the documentation.
Many thanks to Jay for the package of mementoes from previous adventures!

Such a great shot. It looks so slippery, I feel like any joker who dared to sit on it would slide unceremoniously straight onto the ground.

Saw this rather discriminatory sign at a local fast food restaurant. I parked right in front of it (with my big cat) in protest.

Took Ol' Yeller to the last cars and coffee of the season hostes by our local Jag dealer. Lots of cool cars including the silver XKE below.

Cgo, are you using a Sto N Sho front license plate bracket on your car ? I haven't been hassled about not running a front plate on my F Type. Yet. But I am considering having the Sto N Sho system ready just in case. I like how yours doesn't impede the air flow to the front grill.

yes, they're ***** about front plates here. It works great and installs using existing bolts for the air dam.

Jags 5,900 miles from Castle Bromwich in Tokyo and Kyoto- spotted 2 F types and 2 P8s / Project 8s

Saw another F type in motion and it was a blur didn't have the chance to get a picture. Hadn't yet seen the color on the new (>21 F type), looked like a flat green

The green one is a Heritage 60 Edition and the colour is called Sherwood Green, see here: https://www.jaguar.com/about-jaguar/...0-edition.html
