On the way down we did 250kmh on the Autobahn in my own car. I thought I would be terrified once driven on the track, but I was laughing all the way, all 8min38secs of it...

But of course this means you need someone inside the car with a key fob while you (or someone else) takes pics.
I could not find a way on my lonesome to be outside the stationary car while the mirrors were out and the door handles were in at the same time.

Ha! Thanks Dan. I thought about the door handles but I had just backed it out of the garage from cold start and wanted to keep it running. Will it let me lock it with the key fog while it’s running?

Door handle retracts, but a second later it pops out and you get the "beep beep" warning.

I’ve battled this issue when photographing my car - hopefully, I’ll remember this next time. Thanks for the tip.

So I just tried another 'speriment and it worked, following jaguny's suggestion.
Open a window (either one), shut the door, then reach in and hit the interior lock button on the door, hey presto door handles in and mirrors out.
And if you want the window up again, reach in, hit the start button, hit the interior lock button, hit the window up toggle, and remove your arm before the window glass hits it. Of course this leaves the car in "accessories on" mode but without testing I reckon it will leave the car with door handles in and mirrors out for 10 minutes or so before it plays funny buggers and the mirrors fold in and/or the door handles pop out.

Good observation. Silver over black was the #1 color combo on my wish list for this car. Classic and clean. Very 007-esq. Easy to live with and still looks great when dirty. It was surprisingly difficult to find one in this color with a decent list of options. Pano roof, 770w sound pkg and power hatch are the only 3 options this one’s missing; I was good with that. It’s technically Rhodium, although I still don’t know if there’s a difference between that and Indus. Never seen the two side-by-side.
