Had a blast (coupled with a good dose of fear) during my first track day experience!

If you want to go with carbon fiber skirts there's several options out there...

That's a beautiful F Type and the backgrounds go well with the BRG color. I know many people like the blacked out look and it doesn't look bad on light colored Jags but the example above shows how just the right amount of chrome or bright polished parts keep those features from disappearing into the overall look of the car. Of course I am prejudiced as I have its twin.

Ditto the above. I'm biased too. Blacking out is of course at owner discretion, but not for me. I have MY18 BRG with chrome trim. I'm considering stepping up to the 575 V8 before the FT disappears for good, but it's getting harder and harder to find a newer MY w/o the Black Pack trim and black wheels. Sure, for enough money and hassle you can get it all switched but I don't want to do that.

I agree. Had to make a bespoke special order (and a lot of headaches) to get the bright trim on my SVR along with BRG and a Flat Bottom Steering Wheel as well...

Default another person in agreement

You have the best view on this topic, Dwight Frye, Clutch, and FeralSVR. Haha. =) Seriously though, most vehicles lose their personality and/or presence when everything is blacked out. I have a black car and while it would look fine with zero chrome, it wouldn’t look nearly as sharp. I actually was just telling a couple of buddies of mine, who both like cars, that I think all of this trend of chrome delete and blacking everything out will fade away in a few years. Maybe five, maybe ten, who knows, but I don’t think too much time will pass before manufacturers and consumers realize that they are missing those crisp accents that help many designs pop.

Feral - whatever headaches or other bodily pains you had to endure to get your SVR appointed like that was totally worth it. Beautiful. DM me if you ever decide to let her go; but I have a feeling the two of you are going to be together a long time!

I'm so glad I ordered my '23 when I did and chrome was standard and the Black Pack was an (overpriced) option. For 2024 you'd better like black because that's the only configuration available.

I hope not; but I just checked the USA website and on the MY24 R75, yes the default is "Exterior Black Design Pack" -- but I was able to click off of that to the "Exterior Design Pack" (for +$1,100 - yikes!) and get the chrome surrounds on the configurator. But to your point, in my dealer inventory searches it seems they have almost all ordered the Black Pack. Maybe 1 in 20 has the chrome. Not sure why - must be popular or the dealer doesn't think the sales volume will matter by on adding that $1100 option. If I take the plunge I will try to order, not buy off the lot.

I got the Blacked Out look out of my system, in the days of our SAAB 99 Turbo...

Look at two-tone paint jobs, the epitome of style in 1950's USA...
IT'S COMING BACK!!! LOL
